Band Booster 3 600PX

Greetings Parents!

Another band camp is in the history books!  I hope that you have had a positive reaction from your student about the experience.  I want to say thank you to all of the parents that were able to be at camp to help out.  Because of the dedication and work that was put in, many things were accomplished.  Thank you all so very much, it’s a great start for the new season!  Thank you also to all of you that provided the food for the pot luck!  I think that is the kids favorite day of the week!

We have some things coming up that are very important to the program.  The first being Night of Flight.  This starts off the funds for the boosters to be able to buy the props, and other things for the show that need to be purchased, so please invite everyone that you know to come out and enjoy the first performance!  Remember, parents make a covered dish (enough to feed about 10 people), and there is no charge for you.  The object of this fundraiser is to NOT have the parents pay anymore.  The cost is $10 for the dinner and the show after, so again, please bring at least 5 people (or as many as you can), to enjoy the beginning of what is shaping up to be a great year!

We also have a food truck rally on the 24th of September.  This fundraiser is to benefit our uniform account so that the possibility of getting new ones comes sooner rather then later!  The band will provide some of the music, so we need all of the students there that day.  We will also be needing parents to help out, so please mark your calendars.

There is a booster meeting at 7PM on Tuesday the 9th, in or around the band room.  I would like to clarify that if you are a parent or guardian of a band student, you ARE a booster!  So please come!  We have a lot of things going on and will be able to answer any questions or problems that any of you may have.  We welcome everyone, so don’t be shy, come one come all!

Once again, THANK YOU all for everything you do!
